Catalog description

The purpose of this class is to begin developing the academic writing skills needed to participate in university courses. Students will begin to familiarize themselves with the Academic Word List to build academic vocabulary. Students are introduced to different types of academic writing, including the five-paragraph essay, and continue to practice process writing: pre-writing, drafting, editing, revising, and publishing. Students should be concurrently enrolled in LANG 0323 - Grammar III . Concurrent: LANG 0323 - Grammar III
