Catalog description

This course will introduce the foundational statistical concepts and models that find wide applications in data analytics. Topics covered include common distributions, Bayesian statistical models, linear models, logistic regression, etc.. We will explore tools and statistical programming language, like R, and attempt to predictive analytics modeling tasks with social applications. (Course fee required)
