Catalog description

Introduction to programming concepts including procedural programming (methods, parameters, return values), basic control structures (sequence, if/else, for loop, while loop), file processing, arrays and an introduction to defining objects. This class will include hands- on programming in some simple programming languages. (Course fee required) Prerequisite: INTC 2053 - Introduction to Computer Science or passing score on a computer science placement exam. Concurrent: INTC 2081 – Computer Programming I Lab, except by instructor permission
