Catalog description

This course explores the role of nutrition in everyday life, including topics such as nutrients, digestion and absorption, and the impact of dietary intake on weight management. This course also explores the role of nutrition in response to acute and chronic exercise, including energy metabolism during exercise, sport-specific macronutrient intake guidelines, fluid and electrolyte balance during exercise, and ergogenic substances.
