Catalog description
A course in which students further develop their writing skills by tutoring other students in the Writing Center. Under the supervision of the instructor, tutors help various students with their writing problems and concerns on a one-on-one basis for an agreed-upon number of hours per semester. Tutors develop skills that help them discuss effective writing techniques such as development of a main idea, organization, and writing conventions. (Grade Pass/No Credit) May be repeated to a maximum of 3 course credits Prerequisite: ENGL 3293 - English Grammar and instructors permission
