Catalog description

C.S. Lewis and the Christian Imagination surveys the literature of one of the most influential Christian thinkers of the twentieth century and situates his work within the larger context of Christian imaginative and theological literature. Students read several major works by C.S. Lewis, assess the viability of his Christian apologetic in the twenty-first century, explore his enduring influence, and cultivate their spiritual imaginations through the achievements of other notable Christian writers. Meets a Journey Deeper requirement. Prerequisite: ENGL 1023 - Composition II: Arguing Charitably or instructor permission
