This course provides prospective teachers with a conceptual framework and a practical knowledge base for proactive and corrective management in the secondary classroom. Topics include the critical role of leadership in the classroom, the power of teacher-student relationships, the strategic set-up of the classroom and its procedures, and disciplinary interventions. . Prerequisite: Admission to the professional sequence. Courses taken in sequence as required by the School of Education
