Podcasting and Broadcasting

Catalog description

This course introduces students to the skills and techniques needed to produce, engineer, and edit a successful podcast, as well as crossover skills applicable to any digital broadcasting, such as sports commenting or video streaming. They will develop proper vocal technique, practice skillful steering of extemporaneous conversation and interviews, and gain command of recording technologies. Students will plan, produce, host, and edit podcasts over the course of the term
