Introduction to Photography

Catalog description

A course that familiarizes students with the essential elements of digital photography. The digital camera, effects of light and composition, and electronic darkroom possibilities using photo-manipulation software are covered. This course provides opportunities for students to develop their skills by means of classroom instruction and experimentation in real-world contexts. The goal is to assist each student in the creation of compelling images. (This course is also offered through our concurrent credit program.)
