This course is an introduction to screenwriting format, craft, and technique, with an emphasis on the fundamentals of storytelling. Students workshop multiple revisions of a short narrative script. The goal is to complete a polished script suitable for screenwriting competitions and production. Students can purchase script formatting software with the course and/or have access to multiple free online screenwriting format templates.
