Catalog description

This laboratory class focuses on safe, legal, ethical and appropriate use of therapeutic modalities and screening assessment procedures, including physiological and therapeutic effects and indications and contraindications. It fosters the development of communication skills, interpersonal relationships and professionalism required for the health care field. It also requires a high level of critical thinking skills related to implementing and modifying physical therapy interventions. These skills accompany PHTA 2283 .
