Catalog description

This course focuses on evidence-based practice of theory application and demonstration of basic nursing skills and pharmacology concepts. Use of the nursing process and planning client centered care for clients across the life span are introduced. Safety in the client environment is stressed in various types of healthcare settings. This course will require an in-person clinical component conducted by NWACC nursing faculty. Prerequisite: Acceptance into the Nursing Associate Program. Co-requisites: NURS 9102. Semesters Offered: Spring (1st 3 weeks)
