Special Topics Honors

Catalog description

NWACC periodically offers Special Topics courses in Honors that reflect specific topics of study which are not part of the standard curriculum. The class is expected to offer honors students an innovative learning experience that incorporates traditional learning strategies with new learning strategies that apply what is learned in the classroom to community-based themes and projects. Most semesters the class will offer students the opportunity to work with instructors and honors students from different colleges and universities throughout Arkansas. This class differs from HONR 2901H in that students also complete a project. This is an honors course. Please refer to the NWACC Honors Program section in the current catalog for more information.
