Catalog description

An introductory survey of the various components of the Earth systems and the basic interrelationships among them. Topics of study include the scientific method, interpretation of maps, movements of Earth and seasonal change, the elements of weather and climate, lithospheric components and processes and the effects of physical processes upon various types of regions. Emphasis is on developing a broad perspective of the Earth. A one-hour weekly laboratory will provide students a hands-on experience in completing Earth science actions.
