Craft of Non-Fiction

Catalog description

Students will read, write, and explore different sub-genres of creative nonfiction such as personal essay, memoir, and narrative journalism. Students will learn about important issues in the genre of creative nonfiction, and examine style and craft elements in the work of professional writers. In a workshop setting, students will analyze and discuss creative works they produce.
