Designed to teach students the fundamental techniques of fiction, poetry, and creative nonfiction. Students write original poems, stories, and essays, and critique student and professional models in a workshop setting. Reading and detailed discussion of published stories, poems, and essays. Possible uses of visiting authors, readings, and individual conferences with the instructor.
