Medical Emergencies II Lecture

Catalog description

Recognition, management, and pathophysiology of OB-GYN and pediatric emergencies. Emergency childbirth, childbirth complications and gynecological emergencies will be discussed as well as treatments of each OB-GYN emergency scenario. Infectious diseases, geriatric patients and emergency, environmental emergencies, infectious diseases, and behavioral/psychiatric emergencies will be taught. Management of the neonate emergencies will be discussed. The primary reference will be Pediatric Advanced Life Support from the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Heart Association.
