Electrician Licensure I

Catalog description

Electrician Licensure I is for individuals in a Registered Apprenticeship or equivalent pathway leading to electrician licensure. Registered Apprentices have 144 hours or less of Related Technical Instruction [RTI] and 2,000 hours or less of documented On the Job Training [OJT] or On the Job Learning [OJL]. Electrician Licensure I is a concurrent enrollment with Electrical Skills I or equivalent to satisfy requirements for US DOL Registered Apprenticeship or equivalent electrician licensure pathway. ELCT 1201L requires licensure in the electrician trade supervised by a licensed Master Electrician. In this course the student will track their required OJT or OJL hours under the supervision of their licensed Master Electrician.
