Provides an overview of the major principles and functions of the state and federal legal systems, presents legal vocabulary, surveys substantive areas of law, discusses legal and paralegal ethics, and provides educational training for persons seeking employment as paralegals. This is a cross-listed course. Students will receive credit for either CMJS 1043 or LEGL 1043 , but not for both.
