Catalog description

This course integrates psychological, sociological and philosophical foundations of education with concurrent involvement in field experiences. Encourages prospective teachers to become reflective practitioners by emphasizing organization of school systems, planning and implementation of effective classroom environments, development of teaching styles and new directions in education. Includes a variety of field-based activities to learn the components of desired teaching behaviors.
