Covers the philosphy, methods, and materials employed in mathematics instruction in K-8 classrooms. Reviews relevant mathematics skills to help teacher candidates problem-solve and develop their own math literacy. Provides teacher candidates with the content and knowledge and skills required to design effective, differentiated instructional strategies aligned with K-8 Arizona mathematical standards.
