Catalog description

Hands-on identification of different types of framing systems commonly used in the construction industry. Topics include: wall components, floor systems, stair and ceiling layout. Lectures cover appropriate building codes and interpretation of construction documents as they pertain to carpentry. Prerequisites: CON 100 or CON 102 or CON 107. Two lecture; four lab.
