Introduces the basic principles of anesthesia of common domestic species. Includes techniques of induction, monitoring, and recovery of patients using injectable and inhalation anesthetics. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
