Introduces various techniques in microbiology, cytology and necropsy. Studies the common internal and external parasites of various species of domestic animals. Emphasizes their life cycles, pathology, treatment, and prevention. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
