Introduces student to clinical setting and the basics of radiation oncology. Covers basic technical and patient care skills through supervised direct patient contact and phantom work. Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 15 hours. Total 16 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
