Focuses on basic technical skills in preparation for patient set up and treatment in the clinical setting. Emphasizes simulation and treatment parameters. Focuses on students gaining basic understanding of basic techniques and patient care skills through phantom and lab work prior to direct patient contact. Lecture 2 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
