Therapeutic Procedures I

Catalog description

Prepares the students to properly and safely administer basic physical therapy procedures utilized by physical therapist assistants. The procedures include therapeutic modalities. Procedures may include therapeutic exercise, electrotherapy and cardiopulmonary rehabilitation. Part II of II. Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 4 hours. Total 7 hours per week. (Restricted Enrollment) An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $50.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $25.00 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
