Plant Pest Management

Catalog description

Teaches principles of plant pest management. Covers morphology and life cycles of insects and other small animal pests and plant pathogens. Lab stresses diagnosis, chemical and nonchemical control of specific pests, and pesticide safety. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
