Catalog description

Provides a complete overview of a data center such as power systems, communications systems, cooling systems and fire and intrusion detection systems. Introduces commissioning and decommissioning concepts as they apply to data centers. Provides hands-on experience through laboratory exercises. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
