Introduction to Diesel Technology

Catalog description

Introduces careers in the diesel repair industry, safety procedures, tools and equipment used in the industry, and component identification. Teaches preventative maintenance inspections (PMI), precision measuring, and the use of electronic databases for service and repair. Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
