CPB MATH ACADEMY

Catalog description

provides instructional support focused on building basic math and reading skills to help CPB students be successful in General Education math courses such as Math Algebra Trades, Math 2 Trades, Business Math w/ Apps, and/or to meet math score program entry requirements for Health, Business and Trades post-secondary programs. Math skills will focus on number sense & problem solving, decimals, fractions & percents, measurement and algebra skills. Basic reading skills strategies with math vocabulary acquisition will focus on helping CPB students be prepared for college course rigor and success.
