this course is designed for learners who enter at NRS levels 4 through 6. This course is designed to prepare students for the GED® Mathematical Reasoning Test through exploring Quantitative and Algebraic Problem-Solving. Qualitative Problem-Solving topics include: number sense concepts and applying all operations on rational numbers, calculating perimeter, area, surface area, and volume, interpreting various data displays and utilizing counting techniques. Algebraic Problem-Solving topics include: writing, evaluating, simplifying, and solving expressions, polynomials, linear equations, inequalities, and quadratic equations; connecting, interpreting, graphing, and evaluating linear and non-linear functions.
