Catalog description

In this course students will learn how to Program, Cross Reference, and Troubleshoot devices within the Rockwell Studio5000 environment. Students will be introduced to the different programming languages used in industry including Ladder, Function Block Diagram, Structured Text, Sequential Function Chart. The students will understand the varying instructions used in PLC programming software such as XIC, XIO, OTE, TON, RTO, CTU, MOV, COP, to name a few. Students will understand the Data structure and types used in programming including, Boolean, Integers, Double Integers, and Strings. The students will learn to program from a written description.
