learning in specific EMS topic areas (airway management, medical/trauma emergencies, EMS operations) for the purpose of expanding the knowledge-base and competencies of Wisconsin-licensed EMS providers. The EMS Advanced Skills course will serve to expand the skill level of EMS providers in providing out-of-hospital patient care onboard fire-based, private or public/volunteer ambulance services. The EMS Advanced Skills course is a format for the delivery of EMS continuing education credits that supports EMS certification training for EMS licensure in the state of Wisconsin.
