successful completion is required for any EMT provider electing to achieve 24-hours of EMT Refresher course content via non-conventional training formats including but not limited to: EMS conferences; EMS seminars; EMS workshops; web-based EMS instruction; or in-house EMS training delivered by the respective EMS agency training officer. All formats for non-conventional EMS training must be compliant with the state of WI /DOT NHTSA-approved EMT Refresher curriculum and approved by the WI DHS EMS Section. Those who do not pass this course are required, compliant with WI administrative rule HFS 110, to successfully complete the 30-hour conventional EMT Refresher Course for recertification for EMS relicensure.
