will allow officers to update their current skills and abilities utilizing the ballistic shield in conjunction with their handgun and rifle. Officers will learn basic ballistic shield nomenclature, storage, deployment considerations, and use during high risk situations and tactical police operations/situations. Live fire exercises will be incorporated during the use of the ballistic shield.
