provide knowledge and skills to help predict, de-escalate, and effectively respond to and prevent conflict. Emphasis will be on conflict communication skills and how they can help resolve conflict and in turn prevent violence. If violence occurs, participants will also be exposed to best practices related to responding to violence, including active shooter/workplace events.
