students will learn about shop safety, FCAW set up, FCAW fillet welds in 2F, 3F, 4F positions meeting MIL-standards. They will use common fabrication tools, oxy-fuel torches, explore basic fabrication practices, ship terminology, shipyard soc’s, ship numbering systems.
