CNC PRE-APPRENTICESHIP

Catalog description

will cover the basics needed to obtain a position in the CNC Machining industry. Pre-apprentices will learn to operate a pedestal grinder, power saw, drill press, engine lathe, horizontal milling machine, CNC milling machine and ram-style vertical milling machine. In addition to operation of the machines, pre-apprentices will learn safe work habits in the machine tool lab, how to apply precision and semi-precision measurement tools, preform layout and bench work, as well as, blueprint reading and math.
