Catalog description

explores the structure and function of the cardiac system and various pathologies in adult cardiovascular diseases. Students will learn how to assess these clinical abnormalities of the human heart through the principles of echocardiographic imaging focusing on normal, abnormal, and post-operative valvular disease, coronary artery disease, systemic and pulmonary hypertension, adult cardiomyopathies and diseases of great vessels.
