prepares radiography students to protect themselves and others from exposure to radioactivity. Students examine the characteristics of radiation and how radiation affects cell biology. Students apply standards and guidelines for radiation exposure. (Prerequisite: Enrolled in Radiography program or consent of program director; 10-526-231, Imaging Modalities)
