this self-paced course will provide an overview of occupational safety and health construction compliance procedures emphasizing OSHA's 1926 regulations for construction. Significant time wil be spent on competent person training and qualified person training requirements and employees training on the job site. Students will learn how to conduct a job site inspection and how to take corrective action. The student will learn the concept of multiple contractors on a job site and who is responsible for employee safety and health. They will also learn how to interface with general industry safety programs when working in existing manufacturing facilities.
