Catalog description

Study of the use, misuse and abuse of drugs and other harmful substances in today's society. Physiological, sociological, pharmacological and psychological factors will be emphasized. This course fulfills the Social and Behavioral Sciences foundational component area of the core and addresses the following required objectives: Critical Thinking, Communication, Empirical Quantitative Skills, and Social Responsibility.
