Catalog description

COSC 1336 or COSC 1436 This course focuses on the object-oriented programming paradigm, emphasizing the definition and use of classes along with fundamentals of object-oriented design. The course includes basic analysis of algorithms, searching and sorting techniques, and an introduction to software engineering processes. Students will apply techniques for testing and debugging software. COSC 1337 transfers to four-year colleges but may cause students to end up an hour short should they pursue Bachelors in Computer Science. It is strongly recommended that Transfer Student take 1437 for a complete and smooth transfer. Students cannot receive credit for both COSC 1337 and COSC 1437.
