BUILDING CONSTRUCTION PRINCIPLES

Catalog description

Transfer Code Designation C - Potential Area V transfer courses that are subject to approval by respective receiving institutions. This course highlights and assesses the problems and hazards to fire personnel when a building is attacked by fire or is under stress from other factors dealing with collapse.  Emphasis is placed on construction principles:  wood, ordinary, steel, concrete, and truss construction.
