VASCULAR SONOGRAPHY TECHNIQUES

Catalog description

This course will familiarize the student with sonographic anatomy of the peripheral vascular structures of the human body. The student will learn techniques to perform spectral, color and angiographic Doppler of these vessels. Images will be correlated with other imaging modalities (i.e. computed technology, magnetic resonance, and angiography). The student will scan volunteers in order to develop skills in vascular analysis. At course completion student will be able to perform vascular sonogram
