INTRODUCTION TO COSMETOLOGY

Catalog description

In this course, students are provided a study of personal and professional image, ethical conduct, sanitation, hair styling, and nail care. Topics include personal and professional development, bacteriology, decontamination, infection control, draping, shampooing, conditioning, hair shaping, and hair styling. Upon completion, students should be able to apply safety rules and regulations and write procedures for skills identified in this course. NDC, CORE Prerequisites As required by college. Cor
