ORGANIC CHEMISTRY I

Catalog description

Transfer Code Designation B - Area V courses that are deemed appropriate to the degree and pre-major requirements of individual students. This is the first course in a two-semester sequence. Topics in this course include nomenclature, structure, physical and chemical properties, synthesis, and typical reactions for organic compounds with special emphasis on reaction mechanisms and stereochemistry.
