This course is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills related to techniques of making dimensional measurements accurately and precisely in a manufacturing environment. Students will focus on using blueprints to correctly set up and verify measurements on parts using tools such as calipers, micrometers, sine bars, surface plates, height gages, test indicators, and optical comparators.
