INTERMEDIATE 3D MODELING

Catalog description

In this course students will receive instruction on intermediate 3D modeling concepts, such as sheet metal modeling, intermediate assemblies, 3D sketching and weldments. Students will explore an introduction to prototyping and design concepts in a 3D environment. 3D software will be utilized to produce properly detailed construction drawings, using multi-views, section views, and auxiliary views. Proper, industry standard dimensioning with basic tolerances will be discussed and applied to parts.
